I'm Hayley! I'm first and foremost a mama and a wife. I have a sweet 2 year old boy Tedy, a wonderful husband Rob, and two sweet pups - my goldendoodle, Stella, and beagle, Copper. My other favorite title is Miss Gentile/newly Mrs. Henriksen. I love working with the best students ever - it brings so much joy to my world!
Some fun facts about me:
1.) Iced Coffee. Two words that encompass my being. If I do not have a coffee in my hand, then assume I must be violently ill. Also, I love coffee cuffs and have at least 50 of them. You will never see me use the same coffee cuff two days in a row. I get them from @SeamsPretty, @LoveLissyLou, and @LoveMichCo.
2.) I love dogs - ALL dogs (my dogs especially). I truthfully don't know how people are entertained in life without pets.
3.) I love supporting women-owned small businesses (and shopping in general). Shopping small, local, and woman-owned is SO important and always so much fun. They have the most unique items and always package your orders beautifully! When you order from a small business it's like getting a gift in the mail for yourself- I highly encourage you try it!
4.) I love ice cream - I do not discriminate against flavors and basically love them all, though I'm especially a sucker for moose tracks in a sugar cone.
5.) I love bracelets. I always have a thick stack of bracelets on at least one of my wrists, if not both. My FAVORITE bracelets have come from @ANJ_bracelets, @TJazelle, and @MissLouMakes.
6.) I am a writer and love writing poetry and stories for children! I published my first children's book called "How Well Do You Know Me?" (written by Hayley Gentile and Illustrated by Dana Regan) in July of 2022. This book was written for my son Tedy to try to encapsulate the love I have for him as his mom. We read this together many nights before bed, and he loves reading the title with me and then saying, "By Mama!"
I also had the chance to present my book and a presentation about becoming an author to all of my students during the 2022-2023 school year during our school's Reading Week! This was one of my best memories - nothing makes me happier than sharing my love for writing with my students...and I had so many students share with me stories they have written too! It was truly inspiring.
